ABOUT DI
Di Medlock has worked as an aesthetician, tinting/waxing specialist, certified microblader, industry educator and operations director. She believes in consultation and collaboration with her clients, utilizing her 20+ years of experience to create a shared vision.
Her career began in Minneapolis where she graduated from the flagship Aveda Institute. After 8 years of working and training in the midwest she moved to New York in 2009 in search of advanced techniques. She quickly stepped into the role of National Waxing Director for a large spa company where she was able to create programming for continued education and master classes while fine tuning her hands-on skills and work philosophy.
After 10 years of working with an international spa as an esthetician, educator and leader she stepped away to refocus on her clients. She created Altar with the intention of giving herself and her clients a calm, curated space to enjoy a bespoke service.
